Our Cap/Step Bill is out for Sponsorship….

Please take a few minutes to ask your Senator and Representative to Co-Sponsor this legislation.

We are not asking for a discount. Our membership does a lot more work and spends a lot more money volunteering to maintain our trail system than the extra $20 dollars per sled per year we ask from the non-member.

This IS NOT FORCED MEMBERSHIP. You have a choice… you can join a club or pay the few dollars extra.

WE ARE NOT OVER-CHARGING THE NON-MEMBER! Michigan is now going to an annual $45 trail sticker for ALL Snowmobilers ON TOP of their registration. We are asking the Non-Member in Wisconsin for $35 per year.

THIS IS NOT A REGISTRATION INCREASE! Everyone has the choice to join us and join a club. If you do so, your registration remains at the current $15 a year per sled.

Our funded trail requests fell approximately $1.9 Million Dollars short from our trail aids fund! Our system needs the funding!

This will be a needed incentive to help us retain and acquire needed volunteer membership.

We are not asking for any general purpose tax money for our program. We are asking all snowmobilers to fairly participate.

I have included our legislative alert, and a list of legislators and their contact info with a listing of their prospective clubs.  If you have a question on who your legislator is, Go to the AWSC Website, click on the left hand tab “Legislative” click on “Looking for Political Contacts?” and then click on “Who are my Legislators”. Fill in your address and it will bring up your exact Senator and Representative.
